Star Flashcard for Toddlers
The star shape with points to count, straight off the night sky and the top of the Christmas tree. It is the shape toddlers want to draw first, usually with great enthusiasm and five extra points.
What this card shows
Catches the shape toddlers see twice — on cards and, later, actually outside.
Find one like it
Watch the night sky from a warm windowsill; one star is a win.
What kids learn from it
Pointing at tiny far things builds focus, patience and wonder.
Print tips
Go small on this one; stars are modest about such things.
Grown-up tip
On cloudy nights the card stands in, no apologies needed.
