Caterpillar Flashcard for Toddlers
The caterpillar — long, wiggly and permanently hungry. It is the butterfly's baby, a fact toddlers find astonishing, and it inches along in a way that is irresistible to copy.
What this card is for
Hands over the garden's hungriest wiggle and its famous future trick.
On the next walk
Check leaves for nibbled holes — somebody small has been eating here.
What it teaches
Stretches the idea of change — today a crawler, someday wings.
Print it like this
Full-size is right — the wiggle deserves a big picture.
Tip for today
Look, never lift — some fuzzy coats sting, so admire from above.
Teach it, step by step
