Beetle Flashcard for Toddlers
A shiny beetle with a hard little shell, trundling along like a tiny tank. Beetles come in thousands of kinds, and this one is the friendly, everyday sort your toddler will meet under logs and leaves.
What this card is for
Names the shiny armoured explorer sheltering under pots and logs.
On the next walk
Turn one flowerpot over with a grown-up and see who lives under.
What it teaches
Builds careful-hands habits — peek under, then tuck everything gently back.
Print it like this
Ordinary paper is fine — this card travels to the sandpit.
Tip for today
Lift stones yourself, then let small fingers do the peeping.
Teach it, step by step
