Snail Flashcard for Toddlers
The snail with the curly shell, the slowest walker in the garden and the only one that carries its house. Snails come out when it is damp, which makes rainy days snail days.
What this card is for
Puts slow on the map for a child whose feet only have fast.
On the next walk
After rain, patrol the pavement edges — silver trails lead somewhere interesting.
What it teaches
Introduces pace as a thing to notice, not just obey.
Print it like this
Card stock plus a sleeve keeps it clean for muddy hunts.
Tip for today
Bring a magnifying glass — shells reward a closer look.
