Tall tree Flashcard for Preschoolers
The tall tree reaches right to the top of its card, the way tall things reach past everything around them. Tall is a comparing word children meet with their whole body: they stand up tall, they stretch up tall, and they line up against the door frame to find out just how tall they are.
What this pair teaches
Covers lamp posts, doors and every tree your chin has to point at.
Act both sides
Grow like a beanstalk, then shrink to a toadstool; hold each pose five counts.
What it teaches
Height vocabulary that starts with the whole body looking upward.
Print it like this
Laminate this one; outdoor hunts are its natural habitat.
Grown-up tip
The park has more trees than the garden; take the card walking.
