Gray Flashcard for Preschoolers
Gray is the color of elephants, rain clouds, pigeons and rainy-day pavements. It is often the color children name last — and then cannot stop finding, because elephants and pigeons are everywhere once you know them.
What this colour card does
Introduces the in-between colour hiding in squirrels, kerbstones and rainy Tuesdays.
Colour hunt
Dull-day special: list every grey thing indoors until the paper is full.
What kids learn from it
Accepting the middle colours — a subtle step for sharp eyes.
How to print it
Wait for an overcast morning and it will feel tailor-made.
Tip for today
Two greys can disagree; both are right, and that is fine.
