Parent reviews.
A different thing from the quick faces above: a star rating for the grown-ups, plus an optional line about how it went. Every review is read by the school office before it appears.

Why this adventure helps.
Fitting pieces into machines rehearses shape-and-size reasoning. Say the WHY together: “the spot is round, so…”, “the spot is big, so…” — the explanation is the learning, and the game mixes the pieces every round.
Illustration note: Machine 1’s spot is round, so the round gear fits and the triangle and star cannot spin there. Machine 2’s spot is gear-shaped and big — the big green gear fits, the tiny purple gear is too small and a square cannot spin. Machine 3 is missing one gear colour: its empty spot is blue, so the blue gear completes the pair.
Prefer paper? The Fox’s Gear Workshop worksheet prints the same puzzle with room to draw, sort and circle — and a grown-up answer line. Printing never marks anything complete.
