FOR GROWN-UPS

Why this adventure helps.

This activity trains completing towers right on the puzzle picture: one short written instruction, then real pencil work — circling, crossing, tracing and connecting on the illustration itself. Nothing is graded. Ask your child to explain the rule out loud while they draw — saying the “why” is the whole skill.

Illustration note: The printed sheet shows one shared block pile for three towers with three different completion rules (blues shrink, red-yellow alternates, shapes alternate). The game presents each tower with its own three blocks and spells the rule in the prompt.

Prefer paper? The Penguin’s Ice Block Builder worksheet prints the same puzzle with room to draw, sort and circle — and a grown-up answer line. Printing never marks anything complete.
